Today I am going to stray from the wedding blogging to introduce a completely different part of my life that I’ve been working on: HEALTH & FITNESS.
Since I began working in weddings, I have eaten more cupcakes, cheesecake bites, cake pops, push pops in the last year than I have in my entire lifetime! I’m always on-the-go, forgetting meals and water, on my feet and eating poorly. Even when I’m at home I am lazy, on my computer or watching DVR since I am exhausted. In the past year I’ve been sick more times than I can count, have developed new GI issues and have felt lethargic and BLAH. So, starting February 1st I made a vow to start something new: a healthy fit lifestyle.
To help motivate me I started a new blog called “From Cupcakes to Crossfit“ to help educate others about fitness, nutrition & cooking, and to document my 30 days of straight Paleo Diet and my journey in trying new fitness regimens. I have been an active yogi for the last 4 years; however, I am terrified of gyms and any other form of fitness. But that all has ended and today I start DAY ONE OF CROSSFIT!!! For those of you who have no idea what Crossfit is read THIS.
