Hi! I’m Stephanie Uchima-Carney…
an experienced entrepreneur, a mom, a wife, and a woman who left a six-figure career, to follow my intuition and launch a company fit for me. I am a OCD planner, project management ninja, technology lover, marketing expert, trendsetter, people connector, left-brained girl infused with a little bit of woo-woo, and a builder of creative and small businesses.
After starting multiple companies, consulting both individuals and corporations, and working for multiple corporate and nonprofit organizations, my passion is rooted in helping intelligent, ambitious mom entrepreneurs (aka mompreneurs) create, build and grow impactful, profitable and purposeful businesses while enjoying life.
Through my extensive network, experience, and knowledge, I can help you reach new levels of success.
Where it all began…
I was born into a family of entrepreneurs, so it’s in my DNA to be an innovator and a people connector. From an early age, I was always thinking of new ideas, how to fix and solve problems, how to improve an existing tool or predict what the future is going to look like. I have an intuitive sense on consumer behavior and markets, so among friends I am the go-to source and curator of information and advice on upcoming trends, resources or products for many different industries ranging from real estate to non-profit fundraising to event planning to kids to fashion to essential oils!
A Little Bit About Me
I am a UCLA Bruin at heart – where I received my B.S. in Applied Mathematics & Physics, but I did venture to the other side to obtain an MBA (with a focus on entrepreneurship) from the USC Marshall School of Business and a Masters in Real Estate Development (MRED) from the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. I’ve worked in multiple industries ranging from engineering, healthcare management consulting, real estate development and acquisitions, non-profit and independent school development all the way to wedding and event planning, design and production (which is the company I founded 8 years ago).
In business, I love excel spreadsheets, crunching numbers, innovating and thinking outside the box, forecasting the next “big thing,” learning, teaching, networking and technology. As a person, I love pinot noir, coffee, breakfast burritos, anything pink or rose gold, nice shoes, peonies, travel, interior design, philanthropy, health & wellness, and any type of organizational tool or planner.
I currently reside in the beach cities of Los Angeles and I am blessed to have an incredible (and adorable) 3-year old son, a newborn girl (born in June 2018) and a wonderful supportive husband. If I’m not spending quality time with my family and friends, you can find me at a Pilates or OrangeTheory class, shopping at Target, watching Game of Thrones or Fixer Upper, traveling to Maui or sitting on the Board of a local non-profit organization.
